WFF Wraps Up Annual Regional Connects

This year's competency of focus was "Driving for Results" and the events were sponsored by the following host companies in 20 cities throughout North America: ARAMARK, Coca-Cola, Cracker Barrel, Darden, Duke Power, Ecolab, GFS Neptune Foodservice, IHOP, Kraft, National Distributing, National Restaurant Association, PepsiCo, Pizza Hut, Puccini Group, Rich Products, SYSCO, Unilever, White Castle, Woodbine Entertainment and YUM! Brands.

Regional Connects is considered a unique opportunity for WFF members to expand their networking with others within their region and benefit from provocative speakers and panel discussions.

"It was interesting to hear how various people are driving for results, from the executives on the panel to the other Foodservice professionals I spoke with throughout the evening," observed Christina McDermott, WFF member and director of foodservice marketing at Solo Cup Co.

"Individuals with significant tenure have honed their skills throughout the years and shared how they have personally elevated their careers. Whether it was related to staff development, innovation, leadership or managing teams, I added to my "arsenal" at Regional Connects and look forward to putting some of those tips into action," McDermott added.
