A study of the bonuses awarded to restaurant executives last year shows a wide range in the incentive pay collected by managers who subsequently left their jobs for positions elsewhere. In short, the extra money didn’t hold them.

The survey of job changers by Gecko Hospitality, an executive placement agency, provides benchmarks of what was paid, by region and gender.

Here are the bonuses that proved ineffective in cementing managers in their positions.
