Worldwide Produce Joins Golbon

BOISE, ID - Green Farms, Inc., d.b.a. Worldwide Produce of Los Angeles, last month joined Golbon, according to the locally-based marketing group.

Worldwide Produce was founded in 1989 as an independent fresh produce distributor. Today its primary focus is fresh produce and refrigerated product offerings to its independent restaurant, hotel and country club customers.

To meet the growing demand among its restaurant operators, Worldwide's plans are to develop a wider base of foodservice products and programs specializing in produce, refrigerated, and frozen items directed at its upscale customers.

As Worldwide continues to grow its foodservice business, there are opportunities in dry, frozen, refrigerated, and produce categories.
