
Nine out of the top 10 chains in the Top 500 are quick service. Thanks to these giants, the segment makes up almost 62% of the Top 500 total sales. Quick service grew by 4.4% in 2015, and the QSR-plus niche—which includes brands like Chick-fil-A, In-N-Out Burger and Culver’s that offer higher-quality ingredients and service models—increased sales by 8.2%.
