McDonald's and Krispy Kreme are ending their partnership

The fast-food giant and the doughnut chain mutually decided to end their agreement to sell doughnuts inside McDonald’s restaurants after sales and profitability proved disappointing. The partnership will end July 2.

Denny's-owned Keke's Breakfast Cafe begins national expansion push

Three years after it was acquired by Denny’s, the 74-unit family-dining chain is ramping up new openings with plans to grow its footprint by 25% to 30% annually.

Five locations in the Chicago area will offer the limited-time pilot, starting April 15. Company officials say the test is a response to longtime demand.
