Famous Brands appoints Jonathan T. Drake CEO

Famous Brands International has named Jonathan T. Drake chief executive officer, the parent company of the TCBY frozen-yogurt and Mrs. Fields Cookies brands announced Wednesday.

As CEO, Drake will assist the company in diversifying its product offerings and continuing its global expansion, Famous Brands said. 

“We are confident that Jonathan's extensive experience will provide significant value to the Company and elevate the unique position of the TCBY and Mrs. Fields brands in the market,” said James Zenni, CEO of Z Capital Group, whose private-equity arm owns Famous Brands.

Most recently, Drake served as a division vice president for global-nutrition company GLANBIA, plc, and had previously spent two decades in senior leadership positions at Sara Lee Corp., Kraft Foods and The Virgin Group.
