This week’s episode of the Restaurant Business podcast “A Deeper Dive” features Adam Werner, global co-leader of the restaurants, hospitality and leisure practice at the consulting firm AlixPartners.

The firm recently did a study examining the debt levels in the restaurant industry, finding that full-service concepts in particular have more debt. And more have negative earnings. Werner believes that this could make for a difficult winter as the coronavirus looms and more shutdowns could be in the offing.
