Focus Brands names 2 more group presidents

Multiconcept franchisor Focus Brands has promoted two of its concept presidents to the newly created level of group president, with responsibility for several chains.

Paul Damico was elevated from president of Moe’s Southwest Grill, one of Focus’ larger holdings, to group president over Moe’s and its two fast-casual sisters, McAlister’s Deli and Schlotzsky’s. Focus indicated that it intends to fill the presidency of Moe’s at a later date.

Bill Dunn was promoted from president of the Auntie Anne’s pretzel chain to group president of Focus’ snack-concepts group, which also includes Cinnabon and Carvel. Dunn’s vacated post remains to be filled, Focus said.

Last week Focus’ Cinnabon concept announced the promotion of president Kat Cole to group president, with responsibility for building all of the concepts’ licensing, retail and e-commerce revenues.

She was succeeded as president of Cinnabon by David Guith, formerly COO of the bakery brand.
