Blount Fine Foods, a leading manufacturer of premium, handcrafted soups, entrées, and side dishes for retail and foodservice, and the market leader in fresh retail soups, today announced the winners of its second annual “Relentless Pursuit of Excellence Awards” program, which recognizes excellence and dedication to customers from within the company’s network of sales brokerage companies and the more than 1,200 individual sales representatives that work for those companies. For the second year in a row, top recognition went to the Northern California office of Affinity Elite Associates, Inc., which was named National Foodservice Broker of the Year.

“One of the key ingredients to the sustained success of Blount Fine Foods is our network of incredible sales brokers who work so hard everyday to create new opportunities to sell Blount’s premium products,” said Bob Sewall, Blount’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing, and the company’s executive sponsor of the awards program. “The incredible growth we have experienced over the last several years is direct evidence that our brokers continue to be reliable and loyal partners to our existing customers, and relentless in winning over new ones.”

“Not missing a beat, Affinity Elite Associates’ Northern California team defined ‘relentless pursuit’ on behalf of Blount Fine Foods, by significantly expanding on the beachhead it established in Northern California in the previous year” added Sewall. “Unwilling to rest of past success, every member of that office built on the tremendous market opportunity created by bringing Blount’s lines of premium soups, entrées and side dishes into a market that values wholesome, delicious foods.”

Sewall sees Blount’s network of brokers as a seamless extension of the company’s own sales force, and it is common for members of Blount’s staff to collaborate closely with brokers and call on customers as one team. All of the nominations for the Blount Relentless Pursuit Awards came from Blount’s sales staff.
