A new Lemon Kale Caesar Salad is launching on Chick-fil-A’s menu nationwide on Monday.

The limited-time salad offers a springtime twist on the traditional Caesar with the addition of lemon Caesar vinaigrette dressing and a lemon Parmesan panko topping. Also in the mix are the chain’s warm Grilled Nuggets, romaine lettuce, kale and shaved Parmesan cheese, with a garnish of fresh lemon wedges.

The Lemon Kale Caesar Salad is the first entree salad to debut on the national menu as an LTO since 2016—and the first to feature warm grilled chicken nuggets.

“The Lemon Kale Caesar Salad is one of the new items we’re adding to the menu in 2021 to offer our guests more variety,” Kaitlin Miller, menu category leader at Chick-fil-A, Inc., said in a statement. “After testing this item in 2017 and receiving great feedback, we’re excited to add it to our 2021 lineup of seasonal offerings.”

The new salad was tested in Los Angeles, Richmond, Va., and Louisville, Ky.

Chick-fil-A is also branding one of its popular off-menu beverages with a new name: Sunjoy. The drink is a blend of lemonade and sweetened iced tea, a combo that can also be ordered with diet lemonade and unsweetened iced tea.

Sunjoy joins the permanent menu at participating locations, also on Monday.
