
The month of March brings several reasons to celebrate. There’s March Madness, St. Patrick’s Day, the first day of spring and cherry blossom festivals—all events that restaurants can naturally tie into on the menu. Here’s what’s happening as the month gets underway.
On Tuesday, Starbucks brings back beverages that look and taste like spring. The lineup includes the Toasted Coconut Cream Cold Brew, Toasted Coconut Latte, Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato and Iced Lavender Cream Chai. On the food side there’s a Frog Cake Pop. Additionally, the coffee giant revised its chai recipe to make it more premium and customizable. Drinkware is designed to fit the season, with a color scheme of matcha green and cherry blossom pink.
The NYC outpost of Japanese treat concept I’m Donut?, known for its ultra-soft nama donuts, is welcoming the arrival of cherry blossom season with a pair of limited-edition sakura specials. The Sakura Raspberry Cream Donut features a light raspberry mousse and raspberry jelly piped into an original nama donut, then dipped into a creamy sakura-infused white chocolate coating, dusted with fresh sakura powder and crunchy dried raspberries and crowned with a fresh raspberry. Complementing the donut is a pink-hued Sakura Latte made with Sakura cream and white chocolate.
Buffalo Wild Wings is embracing March Madness with several new menu additions. These include King’s Hawaiian Cheeseburger Sliders with Golden Fire sauce and ranch; the Kickin’ Chicken Sandwich seasoned with B-Dub's Chipotle BBQ dry rub seasoning, topped with Pepper Jack cheese, chile-lime slaw, pickled hot peppers and house-made bacon aioli; and three new wing sauces: Sweet Chili Crisp, Lemon Pepper and Lemon Pepper Hot Sauce Mashup. To sip, there’s the Boozy Dunkin’ Cold Brew with Jameson’s Irish Whiskey, Kahlua, Baileys Irish Cream and vanilla, topped with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and sprinkles.

The March Madness “Best Deal Ever” promotion at Domino’s offers any pizza with any toppings for $9.99 from now through April 6. Throughout the promotion, Domino’s is also teaming up with a mix of athletes and celebrities, including Duke basketball players Cameron and Cayden Boozer and U.S. Olympian gymnast Jordan Chiles. They will share their go‑to pizza combinations on the chain’s website.
At Lazy Dog Restaurants, March Madness fans can order the Wings Party Pack, a game-day bundle designed for sharing that includes a variety of wing flavors, sauces and veggies. Packs include 32 bone-in wings or 3 lb.boneless wings in flavors such as Buffalo, Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parmesan. Each pack also comes with a side of veggies and dipping sauces such as Ranch, Blue Cheese and Nashville Hot. Online customers can enter the word MARCH for $5 off their order from March 17-April 6.
NASCAR, not basketball, is Chili’s hook to promote its signature Presidente Margarita. Ride the ’Dente returned to the track Sunday at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas with Spire Motorsports and driver Carson Hocevar. The margarita is a mix of reposado tequila, brandy and orange liqueur, served with its iconic blue shaker. The car’s appearance last year helped reintroduce the new and improved Presidente Margarita and in 2025, Chili’s sold nearly 30 million of the margaritas.
Sports spectators can fuel up with two new breakfast options at Bojangles. The Triple Double Biscuit has triple the protein, layered with applewood smoked bacon, country-style sausage, scrambled eggs and double the American cheese. New Iced Coffee with a medium roast and smooth flavor is served all day and is available in French Vanilla and Caramel flavors.

For St. Patrick’s Day, Sonic is moving away from mint to go green with the Sour Shamrock Slush. The tangy green apple slush is packed with sour popping candy, topped with a crown of whipped topping, sprinkled with more popping candy and finished with a tart rainbow candy strip.
Firehouse Subs introduced its first new permanent menu item in three years, the Chicken ‘N’ Cheddar Rancher Sub. It’s a hearty build made with the chain’s new grilled white meat chicken, crispy bacon, melted cheddar and a new herb-forward buttermilk ranch. The sandwich delivers 49 grams of protein and offers an elevated take on the classic chicken, bacon and ranch combination. It became available to all customers on Monday, with loyalty members getting a first taste last week.

Order a Hot Honey Schmear at Einstein Bros. Bagels.
The Hot Honey Schmear has arrived at Einstein Bros. Bagels for those who crave a little sweet heat with their bagel. The limited-time offering blends the chain’s signature double-whipped cream cheese with hot honey. It’s rolling out across three menu items: Hot Honey Shmear on a fresh-baked bagel, the Hot Honey Egg Sandwich and the Hot Honey Nova Lox Sandwich.
A new Grass-Fed Sweet Onion Burger launched at Burgerville. With local sourcing a mission, the burger is layered with Carman Ranch Beef, Face Rock Creamery 2-Year Aged White Cheddar, NW Gourmet Sweet Onion Spread and griddled onions. The PNW Fisherman’s Sandwich joins the burger as an LTO; it features crispy Wild Alaskan Black Cod, Burgerville creole sauce, American cheese, tomatoes with dill pickle spice, tartar sauce, pickles and lettuce. Back by popular demand is the Lime Frosty Shake, a blend of limeade and ice cream.
The March Taco of The Month at Torchy’s is TheScallawag. It combines coconut battered shrimp, bacon, green chiles, pickled onions, Jack cheese, cilantro and scratch-made peach habanero jam on a flour tortilla. To pair with the taco is The Scallywag Margarita, the March Drink of The Month. It’s a mix of frozen house margarita and peach habanero jam with a coconut and Cap ‘n’ Crunch rim.

KFC's Twisters
KFC is bringing back its popular snack wrap called Twisters. It features two crispy Original Recipe tenders wrapped in a warm tortilla with lettuce, tomato and the restaurant’s Pepper Mayo. Now guests have the option of adding bacon to create a meatier snack wrap. The chicken chain is also debuting the $20 Build a Bucket deal, which allows customers to choose eight pieces pf dark meat chicken or eight tenders plus four sides, four biscuits and four sauces.
Three new dry rub flavors have arrived at Zaxbys: Garlic Parmesan, Nashville Hot and Lemon Pepper. Guests can spec one of the rubs on chicken fingers and wings for a crispy, flavorful finish. Also new on the menu is a limited-time seasonal Peaches & Cream Milkshake, available through April 26.
The Strawberry Hibiscus Whatafresher joins Whataburger’s craft beverage lineup for a limited time. The beverage is a blend of sweet strawberry and light hibiscus notes for a bright, refreshing sipper that fits with the spring season.

A trio of spring LTOs has arrived at Mendocino Farms.
Spring arrived early at Mendocino Farms with the launch of a trio new LTOs. There’s a Smoky BBQ Brioche Sandwich filled with smoked pork burnt ends, sweet and slightly smoky barbecue sauce, rainbow carrot-apple slaw, bread-and-butter pickles and herb aioli on a cornmeal brioche bun. The Farmhouse Ranch Salad is a combo of avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, chives, Tuscan krispies and homemade herby buttermilk ranch. And the Seasonal GOAT (Spring Edition) is a mix of fresh mint, shaved fennel, roasted chicken, mixed greens and navel oranges finished with farmhouse vinaigrette and hot citrus honey.
The Frisco Breakfast Burger is back at Hardee’s. The build includes an Angus beef patty with cherrywood smoked bacon, egg, American cheese and crispy hash rounds, stacked on toasted sourdough and weighing in at 42 grams protein. Also back through April 14 is the BBQ Pulled Pork Frisco. The LTO features pork that is hand-rubbed and slow-smoked for 16 hours. On the sweet side are Hardee’s Strawberry Lemon Biscuit or Cookies n’ Cream Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Shakes.
