Operator Snapshot: Bread Factory Cafe

Bread Factory Cafe, a fast-casual restaurant in New York City, offers comfort-food classics as well as innovative twists on trending ingredients and indulgent baked goods. The restaurant’s menu caters to a range of different tastes and diets and includes not only the usual standbys of sandwiches, soups and salads, but also breakfast specialties, fresh-squeezed juices and made-to-order smoothies, pizza, wings and more.

To maximize midday traffic, Bread Factory Cafe pays extra attention to lunchtime offerings, including wraps, sandwiches and paninis. Indulgent offerings include the craveable Maryland Crab Cake Panini and the Brisket Hot Sandwich, but diners have an array of better-for-you options, including many that feature turkey, to choose from as well.

A leaner Cubano

New on the concept’s fall menu is the Smoked Turkey Cuban Sandwich, which features thinly sliced smoked ham, smoked turkey, Swiss cheese, caramelized red onions, pickle chips and Russian dressing. It’s a unique play on the Floridian favorite. It’s a lighter version of the traditional lineup, however—replacing pork with turkey—and adds caramelized onion for even more bold flavor.

Avocado mania

Also new to the menu for fall at Bread Factory Cafe are two sandwiches featuring both turkey and avocado—a versatile pairing that appeals to a wide variety of consumers.

The Turkey Bacon Guacamole Sandwich is a delicious combination of real turkey breast, crispy smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese, guacamole and ranch dressing. It’s the perfect pairing to show that turkey doesn’t always have to be the “healthy” option, as cheese, bacon, and ranch dressing all offer indulgent, craveable flavor.

The Mile High Fresh Roasted Turkey Sandwich showcases ripe avocado, caramelized onions, roasted peppers, sliced plum tomatoes, leaf lettuce and savory cranberry chutney on a hearty whole-grain French roll.

Wrap it up

Two more new items on Bread Factory Cafe’s menu are the Turkey Cobb Wrap and the Egg White Wrap with Turkey Bacon and American Cheese. These two items feature familiar flavors, and because they’re both wraps, they’re great for consumers dining on the go.

For diners looking to try out some new turkey dishes this season, it’s easy to find something savory and delicious, whether they’re trying to eat light or are looking for an indulgence.
