Subway’s footlong snack platform is growing another 12 inches with the addition of oversized nachos.

The Miami-based sandwich giant is partnering with Doritos Nacho Cheese chips to launch Doritos Footlong Nachos Thursday. The made-to-order snack has a base of nacho cheese cheese-flavored chips that are layered with cheddar cheese sauce and shredded Monterey-cheddar cheese, then topped with jalapeño slices, diced tomatoes, red onions and zesty Baja Chipotle sauce. Guests can embellish the footlong nacho for no charge with rotisserie-style chicken or steak, and for an extra cost, add a scoop of smashed avocado.

“Subway’s newest partnership takes everything our fans love about Subway sandwiches —from quality veggies, proteins and tasty toppings—to the next level with the cheesy flavor and iconic crunch of Doritos,” said Paul Fabre, SVP culinary and innovation at Subway, in a statement. “Whether you’re in the mood for a snack, pairing them with your favorite sub or sharing with friends, Subway and Doritos are serving up even more flavor in every satisfying bite.”

The limited-time Doritos Footlong Nachos are priced at $5, but on April 10, Subway is giving loyalty members a chance to unlock a special offer: one free footlong nachos with the purchase of any footlong sub. The offer will drop in all Subway MVP Rewards accounts and will be available the entire day to redeem via the Subway app, Subway.com or in-store.

Product partnerships are not new for Subway’s footlong snack platform. Last June, the chain teamed up with Atlanta-based GoTo Foods, parent company of Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon, to introduce a Footlong Pretzel and Cinnamon Footlong Churro to the Sidekicks menu. Then this past January, an Oreo Footlong cookie joined the lineup. All are marketed as limited-time offers.
