Every year around this time, Technomic releases its annual outlook for the year ahead.

The 2022 forecast is called “the year of the climb,” as the industry continues to emerge from the pandemic. Some of the trends are amplifications of what’s been going on in 2021, with comfort food, plant proteins and robotics continuing to evolve.
