Many of the coffee concepts on this year's Future 50 list aim to provide either a short-time getaway or a means to grab a quick caffeine jolt and plow back into the fray. Gravity tries to straddle those two camps with units that promise an experience if you want it, or a customized beverage in a flash if convenience is the driver. The drive-thru is an important feature that will get more attention from the franchisor going forward, the chain says on its website. Gravity says it is currently hunting for build-to-suit opportunities in Texas and Arizona.
