Mochi doughnuts are the stars at Mochinut, which puts a global spin on sweet treats. Mochi doughnuts, the brand notes, originated in Hawaii as the marriage of American doughnuts and Japanese mochi. The vibrantly colored rings (made of a connected circle of eight dough balls) are made with rice flower and come in an assortment of traditional and inventive flavors, including Milk Pebble, Ube, Black Sesame and Red Velvet. The doughnuts have a unique shape and texture, which Mochinut describes as a "light, crispy coating with a soft, chewy inside."
