Topping this year's ranking is Peach Cobbler Factory, the 11-year-old Fort Lauderdale-based Southern dessert concept that tripled its unit count in just one year by opening 47 stores in 2023. In August, the chain announced the opening of its 100th location, about two and a half years after opening its first franchised shop. Peach Cobbler Factory plays into consumer demand for sweet-treat concepts with a menu that includes 12 fruit cobblers, 12 types of banana pudding, 24 cookie varieties, 12 cobbler milkshakes, six different cinnamon rolls and brownies, 12 Banana Pudd-N Shakes, and churros with six dipping sauces. The chain has locations in 20 states and is expanding into airports and sports stadiums.
