This taqueria got its start as a taco bus on the beaches of Mexico, but founder Dario Wolos brought it to the U.S., where it began in New York in 2010. In 2021, it won a $27.5 million investment from restaurateur Danny Meyer's Enlightened Hospitality Ventures. Most locations are in New York, but the brand has expanded to the Washington, D.C. area, Florida, New Jersey and Chicago.
