CEO Gursewak Gill emigrated from Punjab, India, and fell in love with American pizza. Launching the fast-casual Curry Pizza House in 2012 in the Bay Area, Gill blended his family's curry recipes with pizza, creating a "fresh and spicy" experience that is something different, such as a Curry Chicken Masala Pizza or Achari Gobhi Pizza with white garlic sauce. Wings, fries, mozzarella sticks and samosas are also on the menu, and those looking for traditional Italian-style pies can find that too. With franchising, Curry Pizza has grown across California and into Texas, Nevada, Delaware, Georgia, Oregon and Washington.
