Coffee concepts are well represented in the Future 50 and face tough competition from the big players. Foxtail Coffee seems to have carved out a niche as "a neighborhood cafe serving purposeful craft coffee." That "neighborhood" of 83 locations is concentrated in Florida, although franchised units are scattered in Nevada, Virginia and Georgia. Foxtail more closely resembles a Starbucks than a Dutch Bros or 7 Brew, as locations are endcaps, freestanding or in-line rather than drive-thru. The cozy interiors invite guests to linger, with decor that features barn wood, subway tile and a variety of seating options. Along with coffee drinks, the food selection includes breakfast baked goods like croissants, cinnamon rolls and bagels, as well as paninis and baguette sandwiches geared for the lunch crowd.
