The Hopdoddy fast-casual burger chain has hired Jeff Chandler, a veteran of several small multiconcept restaurant groups, as CEO.

Chandler was previously CEO of Opper Melang, a Seattle-based operation with a dozen restaurants operating under four concepts (The Matador, Kickin’ Boot, Southland and Ballard Annex) in four states, according to its website.

Earlier, he served at Ram International, a collection of 21 restaurants and breweries.

In announcing the appointment, Hopdoddy noted that Chandler had built the infrastructures for Opper Melang and Ram as a foundation for their growth, and suggested that he may fill a similar role at the burger chain.

Hopdoddy currently extends to 14 locations in four states.
