ID NEWS: HPC goes live with Amphire

HPC Foodservice (formerly The Hartford Provision Co.), Bristol, CN, has completed its integration with Amphire Connect and has started processing vendor transactions electronically, via the Internet.
"Signing with Amphire allows our company to scale integrations with our suppliers rapidly and eliminate inefficiencies from our supply chain," states Barry Pearson, HPC president. "In 2003, we will be aggressively integrating 90 percent of our vendor base through Amphire."
To date, Amphire Solutions, Inc., Boise, ID, a major supply chain relationship management network, has integrated 110 suppliers to Amphire Connect and enabled 8,000 operators through 28 distributor-branded storefronts. Order value processed through Amphire in 2002 amounts to more than $2.5 billion.
