Bloomin’ Brands adds to its executive leadership team

Outback's parent promotes Mark Graff to senior vice president of business development and financial planning.

Mark Graff was promoted to senior vice president of business development and financial planning for Bloomin’ Brands, the company announced Monday. The promotion elevates Graff to Bloomin’s executive leadership team.

Graff has been with the casual dining restaurant company for nine years, holding various finance and investor relations roles. In his new position, he will lead the company’s business development team, including franchise and asset development, in addition to his current financial planning responsibilities.

“Over the past 15 months, we discovered new opportunities which will serve as the foundation for the next phase of our growth,” David Deno, CEO of Bloomin’ Brands, said in a statement. “As a member of the executive team, Mark will guide our thinking to capitalize on our progress and create long-term sustainable growth.”

Earlier this month, Bloomin’ Brands named Danielle Vona CMO, a promotion that placed the former Outback CMO on the parent company’s executive leadership team as well.

In addition to Outback Steakhouse, the Bloomin’ portfolio includes Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Aussie Grill by Outback and the virtual concept Tender Shack. The company owns and operates more than 1,450 restaurants.
