The foodservice redistributor Dot Foods has tapped Dick Tracy to succeed his older brother Joe as CEO of the family-run company.
Joe Tracy remains CEO of Dot's parent company, Dot Family Holdings.
Dick Tracy was formerly the president of Dot Foods. He is the youngest of founders Robert and Dorothy Tracy’s 12 children.
Succeeding Dick Tracy as president of Dot Foods is George Eversman, the first person from outside the Tracy family to hold the post. He has been employed by Dot in a variety of positions for 30 years.
Dot serves as a link in the supply chain between food manufacturers and distributors. It was founded 60 years ago.
UPDATE: This story has been corrected to note that Joe Tracy is CEO of Dot Family Holdings.
