El Pollo Loco has named Shannon Iverson VP of development. In her new role, she will work closely with Chief Development Officer Tim Welsh to support the brand’s national expansion strategy and strengthen engagement with multi-unit operators. Iverson’s experience includes stints at Taco John’s and Marco’s Pizza.
Kayla Money was appointed CFO at Eggs Up Grill. Money joins the breakfast chain from Denny’s Corporation, where she most recently served as senior director of enterprise FP&A and investor relations. In her new role, she will oversee financial strategy, planning and analysis, budgeting, capital allocation and banking relationships.
Chick-fil-A’s Bryan Malenius is the new president of The Center for Food Integrity (CFI) Board of Directors. As director of reputation strategy for public affairs at Chick-fil-A, he brings a unique perspective on the evolving expectations facing the food system, the company said.
Sam Bakhshandehpour is making the jump from José Andrés Group, where he was CEO, to join Bilt, a loyalty program based on housing that allows members to earn rewards on rent. Bakhshandehpour will serve as Bilt’s president of local merchants, expanding the program’s merchant partnerships.
Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken appointed Collin Donnelly as VP of growth and development. In his new role, Donnelly will be tasked with accelerating franchise growth and enhancing unit economics as the brand marks its 60th anniversary year. He joins Lee’s from Crunch Fitness.
Allison DeRoberts has been named director of government relations and public affairs for the Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance. DeRoberts is the former director of public affairs for The Wendy’s Company, and she has held leadership roles at Inspire Brands and Cardinal Health.
Tony Edgerton has been named president of Zunzi’s and Zunzibar to lead the next phase of growth and brand evolution. The Savannah, Georgia-based restaurant group specializes in coastal cuisine and cocktails and has recently expanded into Florida. Edgerton’s experience includes positions at NYC’s Rainbow Room and The Waldorf Astoria.
