Former bakery-cafe CEO heads to Elior North America

Olivier Poirot will assume leadership of the contract company in North America.

Olivier Poirot has been appointed CEO of Elior North America, a multinational company that contracts catering and dining in healthcare, business and industry, education and other noncommercial foodservice operations.

Poirot previously held the post of CEO for Le Duff America, operator of bakery-cafe concepts including La Madeleine, Mimi’s Cafe, Bruegger’s Bagels and Brioche Doree. He started there in 2016.

“Olivier's long experience in the U.S. market and his leadership in the food and services industries are key to support the further development and growth of Elior North America, which is at the heart of our strategy,” said Elior Group CEO Philippe Guillemot in a press release. The parent company, based in France, operates in 15 countries.

Prior to joining Le Duff, Poirot worked in the noncommercial sector as CFO and EVP of Sodexo North America.
