
Clean Eatz has its first-ever CEO.
Eric Wyatt on Tuesday was named CEO of the Wilmington, North Carolina-based franchise brand, which is known for its healthful menu and meal plan options.
Wyatt was previously CEO of the Norms Restaurant chain, based in Los Angeles, and has held C-suite roles at Boston Market and Corner Bakery. At Clean Eatz, he will focus on expanding the more-than 100-unit chain’s footprint across the U.S., the company said.
Currently, Clean Eatz operates in 23 states, and the company is seeking franchisees in Delaware, Massachusetts and Utah.

Founded in 2011 by husband-and-wife team Don and Evonne Varady, Clean Eatz helped Wyatt in his recovery from a recent full-knee replacement, the company said.
“Eric’s journey brings our founding mission to life: living a healthier life by making healthier choices,” said co-founder Evonne Varady in a statement. “In combination with his extensive industry experience, it makes him an excellent choice to grow our brand. His ability to translate his personal commitment to wellness into leadership and innovation is exactly what we need as we entrust him to lead our brand through this dynamic time.”
During the first 90 days, Wyat plans to prioritize building relationships with franchisees, the Support Center Team and Clean Eatz kitchen distribution centers, the company said.
