Hard Rock gets new corporate executive chef

Hard Rock International has named Michael Coury as its new corporate executive chef.

In his new post, Coury will spearhead the menu strategy for the brand’s 178 cafe units. Coury will report to Leigh Merritt, Hard Rock’s vice president of food and beverage.

“Michael’s culinary talent and passion for our brand is unmatched, and we are honored to have him join the Hard Rock team as corporate executive chef,” Stephen Judge, Hard Rock’s president of cafe operations, said in a statement. “We look forward to working with Michael as he possesses a robust experience that will ensure Hard Rock continues to deliver an innovative, world-class menu.”

Coury previously served as executive chef at OTG Management, focusing on restaurants located in airports.
