Growing quick-service chain Stoner’s Pizza Joint has appointed a president and chief culinary officer, the company announced Monday.

Glenn Cybulski is a certified Italian Pizzaiolo and has owned and operated several pizza restaurants in Northern California. He has won the World Pizza Champion title at the Citta Di Napoli competition in Naples, Italy.

Stoner’s Pizza Joint, which has 11 units, is looking to grow through franchising. The concept is looking to add cannabidiol-infused oils and pizza sauces to its menu. Cannabidiol, or CBD, is the nonpsychoactive component of cannabis or hemp. Stoner’s Pizza Joint is also particularly interested in expanding on college campuses.

Cybulski will oversee the chain’s culinary operations and will also work in recipe and product development, operational systems and menu design, the company said.

“Glenn’s broad experience in the kitchen and behind the scenes, as well as cooking with cannabis and CBD, are invaluable to our future success,” Nick Bergelt, Stoner’s Pizza Joint co-owner and chief concept officer, said in a statement. “As the general paradigm shifts across the U.S. around the acceptance of cannabis culture, we’re excited to tap into Glenn’s extensive expertise to propel our brand’s footprint and impact across the country.”
