Quick-service seafood chain Long John Silver’s announced Monday the appointment of four new members to its executive team:

  • Peter Czizek—former menu developer for chains such as Applebee’s, Dave & Buster’s and Macaroni Grill—joins the seafood concept as vice president of culinary innovation.
  • Margo Mize, who most recently served as CMO at Sweet CeCe's Frozen Yogurt & Treats, was named senior vice president of marketing.
  • Toni Bianco, former vice president of Papa John’s Asia division, was appointed vice president of operations.
  • Marilyn Nicholson, who has a 20-year media-strategy background, was brought on as vice president of media and promotions.

The outside perspective provided by these new players will give the brand fresh ideas with which to forge ahead, Long John Silver’s CEO James O’Reilly said in a statement.

"We're ready to work together to leverage our strategic plan and customer insights to drive culinary, service, and asset innovation toward our vision of becoming America's favorite seafood restaurant,” he added.
