Krispy Kreme will send doughnut deliveries to hospitals, healthcare workers and parents of Leap Day babies within 10 miles of its stores. To receive the offer of five dozen original glazed doughnuts, eligible consumers are to post #KrispyKremeSpecialDelivery to Instagram or Twitter. The chain is also promoting its own delivery program, available without any Leap Day connection.
Guests who make a purchase and scan the receipt at any TooJay’s Deli on Leap Day will earn an extra 29 loyalty points, plus a coupon for a $2.29 slice of cake the following week at the 30-unit chain.
Villa Italian Kitchen is giving a free slice of cheese pizza to those celebrating Leap Day birthdays. Valid identification with proof of birthdate is required.
Since Feb. 17, sandwich chain Which Wich has been entering all of its rewards club members who’ve made a recent purchase into a drawing to win free food for the next four years.

Old Carolina Barbecue is reducing the price of its popular pulled pork sandwich to $2.29 on Saturday. It regularly sells for $6.49. The move is a reward for loyal customers as well as a way of introducing a new audience to the chain, according to the 10-unit concept.
