Nicholas & Company awarded "Distribution Center of the Year" from Noodles & Company

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (September 20, 2010)—Nicholas & Company was awarded "Distribution Center of the Year" from Noodles & Company at their Annual Convention in Denver on September 13, 2010. The award was determined based upon the 1) highest scores for on time delivery, 2) fill rate percentage, and 3) perfect order percentage. Of the 10 distribution centers that supply groceries to the chain, Nicholas & Company was ranked #1 in each of the three categories.

"On behalf of Noodles & Company, we were honored to award Nicholas and Company with our Distribution Center of Year distinction," said Joe Gordon, vice president of supply chain at Noodles & Company. "Nicholas has been providing fresh produce and groceries to our restaurants in Utah and local distributions centers on the West Coast for almost two years. The differentiator with Nicholas is their level of service and commitment to excellence. They treat us as if we’re their only customer."
