For much of the past three years, Restaurant Business has been on a journey. We have improved our coverage on RB Online. We have added newsletters like The Bottom Line, Tech Check, QSR Update and upgraded our regular newsletter.

We’ve added podcasts, hosted by RB’s roster of expert editors, including “A Deeper Dive,” “Menu Feed,” “Buzzworthy Brands” and our daily podcast, “RB Daily.” And we’ve provided the kind of coverage you can’t find anywhere else, with packages like Evolving Kitchens, Top 500 chains and Top 100 independents and investigations such as The Burgerim Disaster. And we’ve continued to provide our unique voice to the issues that matter to the restaurant industry every day.

Today we take the next step in this evolution by announcing RB Memberships, one of the biggest initiatives in the more than 100-year history of Restaurant Business.

We are adding a new tier of content not available anywhere else, featuring insight from our editors and the research capabilities of sister company Technomic. This information and premium content will be available exclusively to members, but we are also providing you with options on the volume and type of content you want.

RB Basic. For $9.99 a month, or $99 a year, you can get unlimited access to all premium content on RB Online.

RB Plus. For $19.99 a month, or $199 per year, you get all of that premium content. Plus you can get access to a monthly roundtable with Restaurant Business editors, led by yours truly, along with a new monthly “Chef’s Dish” cooking demonstration.

RB All-Access. For $549 per year, you can get the above, along with a bimonthly, exclusive Consumer Trend Report from Technomic, along with a registration to the annual National Restaurant Association Show.

Enterprise. We also have an enterprise subscription available for organizations with a number of people to get access to the content and extras that Restaurant Business provides. Contact a sales representative for more information on how your organization can access a company-wide membership.

We at RB are constantly looking at ways to improve our content and our memberships will be no different. We will constantly strive to find innovative new strategies to provide you with more of what you’re looking for in a publication. So look for even more premium content and extras in the weeks and months to come.

Restaurant Business will continue to provide plenty of the day-to-day news available to everyone, through our selection of newsletters and other content. But for more of the insight and information you need, it pays to become a member.

Why are we doing this?

Independent journalism, including business-focused industry journalism like the kind that Restaurant Business provides, needs support. The best way to do that is to become a member. We exist for you, to provide you the kind of insight and expertise you need to run your business.

And finally, thank you. Thank you for all of the support you have provided to us over the years, and especially over the past year. And thank you for your continued support going forward.
