A franchise group that runs 200 Pizza Hut units has acquired 67 Moe’s Southwest Grill locations to become the chain’s largest franchisee, the company announced Tuesday.

North Carolina-based Quality Restaurant Group, which recently acquired 27 Arby’s stores, will run the Moe’s restaurants under its subsidiary, Quality Fresca.

A representative did not respond to a Restaurant Business request for details of the transaction, including information on the previous owner of the Moe’s locations.

Quality Restaurant Group’s newly acquired Moe’s units are located in Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Quality Fresca will roll out updated Moe’s locations over the next 12-18 months, according to a press release.

Atlanta-based Moe’s Southwest Grill, part of Focus Brands, has more than 700 locations in 40 states.
