Maintaining clean and hygienic equipment is one of the most important tasks in food service — and also one of the most despised. Yes, it’s essential for the safety of customers and staff alike: it ensures that bacteria and mold don’t linger in hidden crevices and that patches of grease don’t ignite. The iCareSystem AutoDose cleaning system is fully integrated into the iHexagon and iCombi Pro systems. With AutoDose, all you need to do is insert the recyclable cleaner cartridges into the intelligent slots at the bottom of the oven. There are four slots for the system’s cleaner and care cartridges. All the chemicals are solid, so there’s no need to worry about spills.

Once you insert the cleaning cartridges, they become part of the oven’s system, fully visible on the LCD screen. With the touch of a button, you can initiate a cleaning cycle or program the oven to clean itself during non-peak times or overnight when no one is around, or even remotely through the RATIONAL ConnectedCooking platform (the oven will turn itself off afterward). There are nine available cleaning programs that can be customized to suit your particular needs. You can “set and forget” the system to clean on a regular daily or weekly schedule, or even multiple times per day, or you can request that the system notify you when it detects that the oven might need a cleaning.

In addition to saving you time, the iCareSystem AutoDose also saves money. It’s so easy to use, there’s no need to spend a lot of time training employees, something that’s also useful if you have a lot of turnover. It’s economical in terms of supplies, too: for each cleaning, it only uses the exact amount of solution for optimal hygiene, so you don’t have to worry about using too much or too little. The system also tracks the amount of cleaning solution you have left, and calculates the number of cleanings remaining, and displays it on the LCD screen, so you won’t be caught without supplies.
