
The Restaurant Business editorial team on Friday won eight Jesse H. Neal Awards, including Best Range of Work by a Media Brand.
The annual awards, presented by the Software and Information Industry Association, recognize excellence in business media.
Neal Award winners were announced following a luncheon at the Yale Club in New York City.
In addition to Best Range of Work by a Media Brand, Restaurant Business took home awards for:
- Best News Coverage, for a special report on restaurant bankruptcies by Jonathan Maze, Joe Guszkowski and Lisa Jennings
- Best Series, for The Climate Crisis by the editorial staff
- Best Subject-Related Package, for Labor Pains by the editorial staff
- Best Technical/Scientific Content for AI has arrived in restaurants. But what is it, exactly?, by Joe Guszkowski
- Best Commentary, for Why Baja Fresh never became Chipotle by Jonathan Maze
- Best Range of Work by a Single Author, Lisa Jennings
- Best Profile, for Everytable resets its table by Lisa Jennings
