Ghost kitchens unlock big-city real estate for casual dining

Chains like Cracker Barrel and Chili’s are using small-format kitchens to go places they couldn’t before.

The company plans to co-brand the Granite City and Village Inn concepts to squeeze more revenue out of the breweries. And the mixing and matching doesn't stop there.

The delivery-only concept already has 165 locations across three continents thanks to Reef's large and growing kitchen network.

Sales at the burger chain returned to 2019 levels, and labor improvements are driving further growth.

The Arizona-based casual-dining concept will use the funding to grow from five units to 30 over the next four years.

It will merge with Ventoux Acquisition Corp. and begin trading on NASDAQ to raise funds for its digital ordering systems.

The deal will get DoorDash into 22 new markets, vastly expanding its international footprint.

The company is partnering with Serve Robotics to offer the service in Los Angeles starting early next year.

A couple of unconventional moves have helped the chain generate some of its best traffic ever.

Its parent company, Ordermark, will assume the Nexbite moniker as it brings delivery-only concepts to the forefront.

The deal gives the ghost kitchen operator a foothold in the Middle East. Also, DoorDash launches nationwide shipping, Miso Robotics upgrades Flippy and Bite Ninja raises $4 million.
