This pizza is a well loved classic. Simple ingredients make it great. Fresh mozzarella, plum tomatoes and basil are all it needs.
1, 12-in. prebaked pizza crust
3 medium plum tomatoes, sliced 1⁄8-in. thick
8 oz. fresh mozzarella, sliced 1⁄8-in. thick
1⁄3 oz. fresh basil, julienned
1⁄4 cup pine nuts
1 tbsp. garlic olive oil (optional)
- Arrange tomato slices on crust, followed by mozzarella slices. Sprinkle basil over cheese, then top with pine nuts. Drizzle with oil, if desired.
- Bake at 450° F. for 7-9 min. until crust is lightly browned and cheese is melted.
