Everyone is getting in on the trend, and many have proclaimed their smoothie to be “super” in terms of nutrition and customizability. This version combines vitamin-packed kale and all-natural agave for a healthy refresher. Pro tip: Freeze it for a fruity shaved-ice treat.
4 cups canned pears with juice
1 bunch kale
1 medium apple, cored but not skinned (we recommend Braeburn)
1/4 cup agave syrup
6 ice cubes
- Place pears in blender; add apple and blend for 1 minute or until smooth.
- Add agave and ice cubes; blend for another minute. Serve immediately.
