Ventura Foods Names Christopher Furman President, CEO

ST. PAUL, MN (Oct. 8, 2009)—Edible-oil based food products manufacturer Ventura Foods LLC has named Christopher Furman as its new president and ceo. Effective November 9, 2009, Furman will succeed Richard Mazer, who is retiring.

Furman joins Ventura Foods from PepsiCo Inc., Purchase, New York, where he has held a series of leadership roles with increasing responsibility for more than 20 years. He most recently served as president of PepsiCo's Foodservice Division.

Headquartered in Brea, California, Ventura Foods processes a broad range of branded and private-label foods. The company has production facilities in 11 locations throughout the United States, more than 2,400 employees and annual sales exceeding $2 billion.
