Fridays offers a twist on BOGO with new burger promo

TGI Fridays hopes to stoke some friendly customer competition with its new “buy a burger, give a burger” promotion, the chain says.

Starting Wednesday, Fridays customers who buy a burger and enter their receipt code on JumpBurger.com will receive one free burger to “toss out” to friends via social media or email. The first person to click on the offer can redeem it for a free burger at any Fridays location.

Jump Burger plays off of basketball’s “jump ball” method, in which the ball in play is up for grabs by either team.

"Fridays has a legacy of always being up for trying something new that makes guests happy,” Brian Gies, CMO at TGI Fridays, said in a statement. “We think giving our guests an innovative way to pay-a-burger forward, and the race to snag one of our digital burgers, allows friends to socialize in a new way, while being generous."
