Guy Fieri to craft specialty menu for Planet Hollywood recast

Guy Fieri could bring his signature Donkey Sauce to the home of Disney World, as the celebrity chef is creating a specialty menu for Planet Hollywood’s Orlando revamp.

This fall, Planet Hollywood’s flagship restaurant will reopen as the Planet Hollywood Observatory, an observatory-theme eatery with a new menu including sandwiches and burgers developed by Fieri.

The Observatory will contain an augmented terrace and bar area overlooking the Disney Springs shopping and dining complex, formerly known as “Downtown Disney,” which is undergoing a revamp of its own.

“This partnership [with Fieri] only furthers our commitment to refresh our guest experience while continuing to offer freshly prepared, pleasing dishes,” Planet Hollywood founder Robert Earl said in a statement, noting that tapping Fieri to create the special menu was a “no-brainer.”
