All In-N-Out Burger units in Texas have been closed this week, after the chain identified a quality issue with a recent shipment of burger buns.

There are no food safety issues, the company said, and the 37 Texas units are slated to reopen Wednesday after a new bun shipment arrives.

“At In-N-Out Burgers, we have always served the highest quality food with no compromise,” the company said in a statement. “We recently discovered that our buns in Texas do not meet the quality standards that we demand. … We decided to close all of our Texas stores until we are confident that we can serve our normal, high-quality bun.”

The statement was posted on the doors of some shuttered units.

The closures prompted some consumers to voice support on social media for Texas-based burger chain Whataburger.

“My appetite don't want none unless you've got (good) buns, hun,” one Twitter user wrote. “This should settle the @Whataburger vs. In-N-Out debate.”
