A Deeper Dive

Technology should not be added into a restaurant just because it looks cool. It has to have a purpose.

In this week’s edition of the RB podcast "A Deeper Dive," Honeygrow founder Justin Rosenberg talks about the way his chain has used technology to improve the customer experience, from the ordering kiosks that help with customization and throughput to virtual reality training.

Rosenberg believes technology inside of restaurants should have a purpose.

He also has a warning for restaurateurs who believe delivery will yield incremental sales.

The podcast also features Restaurant Business Executive Editor Sara Rush Wirth, who talks about the recently completed FSTEC Conference in Orlando, Fla., and how technology is changing the restaurant business.
