Whataburger will resume serving its full breakfast menu, including all menu items containing eggs, during its normal breakfast hours of 11 p.m. to 11 a.m., the San Antonio-based burger chain said Friday.
On June 1, Whataburger announced that it was reducing its breakfast hours by more than half in response to a limited egg supply resulting from the ongoing avian flu outbreak. A few days later, the chain resumed normal breakfast hours with the caveat that egg-based breakfast items would only be served between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m.
The chain says it has secured additional egg supply and is no longer experiencing an egg shortage.
“While Whataburger was originally made famous by our burgers, our customers really love our breakfast menu—including those menu items made with eggs,” Whataburger COO Dino Del Nano said in a statement. “We know it’s been a tough couple of weeks for our customers, but we’re really grateful for their support while we worked to build up our egg supply.”
