Meet CSP's 2020 Hometown Heroes

CSP honors three convenience-store retailers that have gone above and beyond to help community in the face of the pandemic

CHICAGO — Early in the pandemic, convenience stores were among the businesses designated as essential, meaning they could continue to operate as normally as possible. And they took the label seriously.

They sought out ways to help their communities and employees. They mobilized to help consumers get through the pandemic a little easier, whether it was by providing meals, stocking necessities or donating in ways above and beyond their stores.

CSP’s Hometown Hero Awards recognize three retailers who truly thought about community first. They will be honored during an Outlook Leadership Community webinar in November.
