Avocados make a great base for a smoothie that packs in flavor as well as nutrients. This recipe couldn't be simpler—just add in a can of pineapple for the right amount of sweet, a cup of ice, and you are good to go.
1 fully ripened avocado, halved, pitted, peeled and diced
1 (20-oz) can pineapple chunks in juice
1 cup ice
- Combine all ingredients in a blender; blend until smooth.
- Sweeten with honey or sugar if desired.
