Adding a slight bilingual accent to the menu

Solidifying menus can be a task within itself, but we found it particularly difficult when deciding which language to use at our Spanish-style restaurant. Not wanting to stray away from our authentic Spanish culture, we communicated the dishes in our native language, which led to a lack of English-speaking clientele. We suggest finding a balance by a offering bilingual menu that focuses on the language understood by the majority. It’s important to note that you don’t have to completely translate the menu into English, as this will enable your waitstaff to educate guests on the meaning of various dishes.
