BOISE, Idaho - Fresh Country Food Service, Inc., Longview, Texas, has joined Golbon, marketing group headquartered here announced.

Fresh Country was founded in 1984 as a niche distributor, servicing the needs of independent restaurants and providing fresh produce to multi-unit accounts. Today its primary focus revolves around its independent operators and schools and has joined Golbon to help support its offerings.

To meet the growing demand of its restaurant customers, Fresh Country's plans include developing a wider base of foodservice products and programs directed at this customer base.

As Fresh County continues to grow its business, it anticipates opportunities in dry, frozen, refrigerated, and COP categories.
