ID NEWS: IDQ to utilize Instill purchase analysis software system-wide

Instill Corp., Redwood City, CA, a leading provider of supply chain solutions for foodservice, has announced that its Data & Analysis Solution program has been deployed in support of all International Dairy Queen, Inc.'s (IDQ) company-owned and franchise units. Minneapolis-based IDQ is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., Omaha.

The program gathers IDQ system-wide invoice data to provide "clear visibility" of the more than $10 billion in annual purchases made by IDQ, Instill states. A customized set of Instill's hosted data mining and business intelligence software will enable IDQ to optimize its supply chain for cost savings and business building ideas, the software provider further notes.
